Run by the Parker family for four generations, the rustic eatery has offered the exact same menu since it opened in 1951: skillet-fried chicken or baked country ham, plus side dishes such as coleslaw, okra casserole, hand-riced potatoes, gravy and hot biscuits. The friendly staff keeps the bowls and platters full because these are all-you-can-eat meals.
Dessert varies by season and may include spice cake or Mexican custard.
The ranch (16350 Highway 115) is located on State Highway 115, about 17 miles south of Colorado Springs.
